Will the 6 CEUs for the Anti-Racism training be accepted by my licensing body?
The Diversity and Resiliency Institute of El Paso is a project of the Borderland Rainbow Center. As is disclosed in the footer of every page on our website, and on the Anti-Racism Training registration page, the Borderland Rainbow Center under sponsor number 7798 has been approved by the Texas State Board of Social Worker Examiners to offer continuing education contact hours to social workers. The approved status of The Borderland Rainbow Center, Continuing Education Service expires annually on July 31.  If you hold licensure in another state or in another discipline, it is not guaranteed that our webinar content will meet your requirements.  Check with your licensing board to determine your requirements and allowances for CEUs offered outside your state or discipline.

Will I receive a certificate?
Yes.
If you have registered and paid for CEUs, you will receive a certificate via email once you complete the CEU exit survey. This certificate will be formatted in accordance with Texas State Board of Social Work Examiners requirements. YOU MUST COMPLETE THE CEU EXIT SURVEY TO RECEIVE YOUR CERTIFICATE
If you have registered for free, you will receive a certificate of completion via email once you have completed the exit survey.
Please note, the exit survey is not the Post-test. The exit survey is located after the post-test.
Make sure to check your Spam and Junk Mail folders if your certificate does not appear in your Inbox.
*Make sure you type your email address correctly on the exit survey, the certificate is automated and will be delivered to the email address you enter in the Exit Survey*

Is this training accessible for Deaf and Hard of Hearing persons?
Yes.
All of the videos in this training are pre-recorded and captioned. This training also contains handouts and written text, as well as journal entries that can be used to engage with the facilitator. If you encounter accessibility issues or need additional assistance with accessibility, contact driep.help@gmail.com
Is this training facilitated by a person of color?
No. This training is facilitated by a white person. As we explain in our introduction to the first module of the training, we believe that as racism is a construct created by white people for the benefit of white people, it is the responsibility of white people to educate others and dismantle this system. We do not believe that people of color have the responsibility to educate nor the obligation to be patient with this process. This sentiment has been echoed by those we engage with in our work. This training was launched as part of a week of action against racism and is endorsed by the Texas Poor People's Campaign, Brown Berets del Chuco, and the Red Handed Warrior Society, all organizations led by people of color.
How is this training formatted?
This training is a self-paced training. You may start at any time. Registration ends June 30th, and participants will have access until 11:59 pm on July 2nd. This training contains pre-recorded, captioned videos, written text, and supplemental materials and handouts. Additionally, each module contains a required journal entry which generates the password for the next module. Please write down these passwords so that you may exit and re-enter the training as you need to.
