Bias is something we all have, though we may not like to admit it. As service providers, it is imperative that we understand bias, process it, and understand the ways in which it impacts our practice, and our lives.

Participants will:

  • Define bias and the ways in which it is created

  • Discuss the ways in which bias informs perception and interaction

  • Identify areas in practice where bias may exist

Presented by:

Ashley Heidebrecht, MSW
