When children struggle with aggressive behaviors it can be overwhelming, especially if we are unable to clearly identify the trigger. This webinar will discuss the importance of centering the person-in-environment approach in behavior management, and addressing basic needs as the root of aggressive behavior. This webinar will also focus on mindfulness as a technique for intervention.

Upon completing the webinar, participants will be able to:

Understand the importance of the person-in-environment approach to behavior management

Articulate methods to uncover unseen triggers

Identify ways in which basic needs impact behavior

Utilize mindfulness techniques for managing aggression
