I have always felt stifled by what to say to people when it comes to having a discussion about white privilege. I think "white toxic guilt" is a great description for what I was engaging in and feeling. Yes, I don't want to be looked at as the "bad person" but I also wasn't sure how to get out of it. In participating in this training, I have learned so much about racism and myself and I know I am learning the tools to stop feeling stifled and speak up and hopefully make a difference when talking about things like white privilege. I also agree that this is not a one time education, and this is not my first training and discussion about racism, multiculturalism, and diversity, but this is the most informative one I have done. I will continue engaging in these types of trainings. Thank you!
