Two things that stood out to me was the point of we have to be "Comfortable with being uncomfortable". This was a statement that I would say to white people when I lived on Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. It's such an important point for white people to understand to think about how people of color may be uncomfortable all the time in a white dominated society so it is our job to engage and possibly be uncomfortable.
The last video was powerful because the idea of exclusion of poor white people is how the right-wing is growing, they point the blame on people of color rather than the structural issues that keep them poor as well. I like the idea of how we need to listen and be equipped to change people's minds and channel people's frustration toward a system that is unjust to so many people.
I also was struck by the phrase, "Get comfortable with being uncomfortable." Most change is scary, but that doesn't mean that you should avoid it.
I agree with Brian - we have to get comfortable being uncomfortable. As a white person I grew up as "the default". It is high time we reset "the default" where race is concerned.
