I really enjoyed this portion of the course.
In looking through the handouts, my favorite was the sheet about the two young boys. It did a great job of humanizing the topic-at-hand. I personally aligned with the information in all the handouts, but wonder if there's a resource that's a little "easier to digest" for people who aren't ready to even consider attending marches or leading movements. I'd love a sheet that includes more basic actions a person could take, similar to the suggestion to interrupt people's jokes or explain why they're discontinuing a specific conversation. I know that this wouldn't be as powerful of a tool as a flyer including a wider range of advocacy actions and levels, but in engaging with a person who doesn't feel comfortable supporting a business or even a blog based on race, anything could be a step in the right direction.
Thank you for sharing this! I am always thinking about how to respond to people who are not able to tolerate or digest the rest of the information that is out there to move forward.
