Where do you think you are on the ally continuum? If you are a person of color, you can still become an ant-racist ally to other racially marginalized group. Do you think you already demonstrate allyship? Share with the other participants the ways in which you are already an ally, and ways that you would like to become a stronger one. I know that I want to be an advocate, but I think that I'm probably still only in the active stage. I speak out against racism when prompted, but I need to be better about proactively engaging with and initiating conversations about antiracism. It can be intimidating to speak out, especially when most of the people currently in my institution's administration are white, but I am determined to find the courage to do so more regularly.
