When reviewing my actions, I have seen where I have grown. I don't avoid talking about racism with family members. I'm honest with them about my beliefs (being that people are people and should be treated as such). During these modules, I continue to keep my mind open and learn all I can. As a social worker, I am open to having these conversations and be a part of a society that is loving towards all people. I can also recall having conversations with clients when their comments are offensive regarding race, women, sexual orientation, etc.
