I have learned about myself and about racism in America in this course. I have all of the downloaded, and I printed out the "How to be Anti-Racist" poster and taped it to our fridge. I have learned how I can begin the journey of anti-racism in my life, but I am struggling how to best apply these learnings in the near term. I am a married white male with two kids, living in a rural subdivision. We have been sheltering in place since March, and I can easily work from home, so I'll be one of the last people to return to the office, when COVID-19 beings to recede. I need to dig deeper into things I can do from home to help with the anit-racism cause, because I am afraid that by the time we get back to normal social behaviors, it will be too late, I will have become complacent again.
