I always thought of a few ways I might have white privelege but the list on the handout was amazing and most of them made sense to me. There are so many everyday happenings that show this. I didn't even think of most of them as privelege because that is just the way it always was for me. I think having my race represented wherever I went or whatever I did, is a really big one. And not worrying about being looked at suspiciously when amongst others.
I grew up poor and in a town with a bad reputation (not me, the town). Because of this I would think that my white privelege was not so strong, but when skin color is the first focus by so many people, even being poor, I didn't have it so bad.
