I can't relate to the types of discrimination and dismissal that members of other racial groups described. It made me sad to hear their stories and that I was so ignorant to these pervasive experiences of racism growing up. I am particularly struck by the inconsistency of judging a person as "Black" if they have just "one drop" of Black heritage, but judging Native Americans as less Native if they have just "one drop" of Native heritage. It's all about what serves the whites I suppose, because they made the rules.
