The New York Times conversation videos are impacting as they put a person and their voice to the very real concerning situations that are occurring in the U.S. today. It was interesting to have a variety of people of differing races speak on their experiences. I feel for everyone who has experienced racism covert or blatant and I hope the current movements make a change in our society for the better. Unfortunately I did not relate to any racist barriers but I did think of times that I went along my way not being interrupted by police or other service individuals (such as hotel staff) questioning who I am and why I am in a certain location. I constantly have society favoring me in almost everything if not everything I do.
