I was particularly interested in the video and input of the black women. Of all groups you videoed, it is black women who have, in my experience, not gotten enough exposure. We see black women actors and entainers but not regular women who have lived experiences to share. The many different roles they take on raising children, working, being part of this racist society. I want to hear more from them. I recently found an instagram group called black makers. Black women makers who support craft suppliers on their sites have not been supported by these companies when it comes to Black Lives Matter. I was pretty astounded that these women advertise on their maker sites have not come to their side on this issue or probably any other issue.
