I've done these before, and although I didn't feel anxious or nervous about it, I was, perhaps a bit disappointed in my results. I was overall more biased in favor of people like me (European American, using their terms) than I thought I would be. But I'm still not that surprised by it based on the environment in which I grew up. I was the first generation in my family to go to integrated schools and grow up post-Civil Rights Movement (the 60s one). My parents and family overall didn't associate with people different from them, and especially as an only child, that meant that I didn't either--except in the school day. It's an example of knowing what my beliefs are and what I want to be the case, but not being able to overcome what's automatically built in. And not really even realizing it...
