I did not feel stressed or anxious taking the tests. I am aware that I have biases based on personal and cultural experiences. I was not aware how strong these biases were or how engrained they are in my automatic responses.
I agree with you. I did not feel anxious while taking the first couple tests, but went ahead and did a few extra to 'test' myself. I became more anxious, and was trying hard to not show my personal biases. The feedback felt pretty accurate, and was a little eye-opening.
This was not my first time watching the brown eye, blue eye video. However this was the first time I watched it in an anti-racism mindset, previously watching in psychology classes and looking at it from a psychological perspective. Every time I watch this video I am so surprised at how quickly the racism is ingrained in the children and easily they are suseptible to the adults accusations.
