I so appreciate all of the data in the second part of Module 1 regarding redlining and environmental discrimination. While the issues about Flint, Michigan were all over the news, I never saw any official news articles talking specifically in terms of this being environmental discrimination. Recently, someone I knew told me a story about a school in a primarily black part of their city that had high lead content inside. The city didn't want to invest in the school, and children died because of this decision. There are so many horrifying ways that white people in America use politics and money as tools of discrimination.
