As I reflect on the content of Module 1, it informed me that racism is a greater issue than I understood. People of many minority groups have suffered social injustice throughout history. As America has been known as a melting pot of cultural and ethnic groups, yet we find that too many have experienced horrific treatment in pursuit of their dream in the promise land. I think Module 1 is an important foundation to build my understanding of how to better serve in bringing a proactive change to racism. I look forward to interacting with future material and discussion.
