There's no doubt that the institutionalization of systemic racism exists, but who's the architect? I can't imagine that some secret society like the Illuminati or Freemasons contrived it all. There is obviously an oppressive effort to transition from slavery to Jim Crow to segregation to incarceration, but is it's execution more similar to Adam Smith's "invisible hand"? It really is a combination of everything we've learned: hundreds of years of hard wiring from a history of slavery, propaganda, pop culture, etc. We wonder how did good people allow this to happen. It's the same way oppressive aggression has happened at other times and other places in history. We really are that easy to get caught up in bad ideas and evil practices. It really does take great courage for people to sand up and try to create change. It also takes time, maybe hundreds of years of trying to overturn current beliefs and practices.
