I thought that all of the Module 1 historical videos were very powerful and moving. A lot of this content was new to me, which I am glad to have been introduced to and hope to continue to learn more about. However, as a college student, I am saddened that so many of these topics have been overlooked in my education. Even now, it seems that many textbooks omit so many important issues about groups that have been oppressed because a lot of these issues are very challenging to talk about. But I am very glad that these discussions are able to start on platforms like these, since it is evident that there are still so many lingering effects of practices like redlining or the coerced "adoption" of Indian children.
