In this section we learned about systemic racism and how that bleeds into basically every part of our lives. The question asked if we can learn about this and attempt to connect the dots to all of the basic sections of systemic racism, and I believe that I do see these connections between all of these points. It is very clear to me how we as a society have completely set up the black community for limited success. We talk about breaking the "glass ceiling" as women in the work force but the black community seems to have more of a brick or steel ceiling when it comes to acquiring basic needs and utilities. We need to realize this more in our day to day life, and come to terms with the fact that we have put our black citizens at risk in their lives. Even just as simple as economic advancement, it is so poorly manufactured for black people. I don't understand how you can look at all of the facts and still ignore the basic rooted problems within our society.
