I can completely see the connection. One thing which the video didn't address that I was curious about is the relationship of how we view what is "crime". For example, how is white collar crime punished in relation to it's impact vs "criminal" behavior that black people are most often accused of. I'm from another country and know that we punish stealing with a jail sentence or community work vs if you defraud people you might just get a financial penalty or a claim of up to $25,000 that might be up to the person you've defrauded to collect.
