I just can't find the right words for a title here.
These videos shine a light on things our country has done to people of color for so long. The hardest one for me to take is the treatment of migrant Mexican workers, now knowing that the Nazis basically followed our lead in the gassing of human beings under the guise of "science". I get why we'd want to hide it. As a history minor in college, nothing of this sort ever came up.
The next step is how do we teach this to our kids? It has to be taught within the context of civil activism and change rather than just a horrible history of the country we live in. Our next generation needs to know what happened, and how to prevent anything like it from happening again.
